THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN RIVERTON HAS ISSUED A WINTER
STORM WATCH...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM THIS EVENING THROUGH
WEDNESDAY EVENING.

* TIMING...LIGHT SNOWFALL MAY DEVELOP AROUND 9 PM THIS EVENING.
  THE SNOWFALL MAY INCREASE IN INTENSITY AND BECOME HEAVY AT TIMES
  AFTER 11 PM THIS EVENING AND MAY CONTINUE THROUGH WEDNESDAY
  MORNING. THE SNOWFALL WILL BECOME MORE INTERMITTENT BY WEDNESDAY
  AFTERNOON AND CONTINUE THROUGH 11 PM WEDNESDAY EVENING. MOST OF
  THE SNOW WILL END IN THE SOUTHERN PORTION OF THE VALLEY AROUND 5
  PM TODAY.

* SNOWFALL...6 TO 8 INCHES ACROSS THE NORTHERN STAR VALLEY
  INCLUDING THE TOWN OF ALPINE IS POSSIBLE. ELSEWHERE 3 TO 6
  INCHES IS LIKELY.

* MAIN IMPACT...SLICK AND SNOW COVERED ROADS ARE EXPECTED. THE
  VISIBILITY COULD LOWER TO BELOW A QUARTER OF A MILE AT TIMES.
