...Accumulating Valley Snow Expected Thursday and Friday...

A steady stream of Pacific moisture will feed into western
Wyoming Thursday and Friday. Snow and an increasing southerly wind
are expected to impact the western valleys both days...

* SNOW...Moderate to heavy snow. Total accumulations of 4 to 8
inches with local amounts of 10 to 12 inches.

* WIND...South to southwest wind of 10 to 15 mph will increase
Thursday night with speeds 15 to 30 mph. This could cause
blowing and drifting snow, particularly in open areas of Jackson
  Hole.

* WHERE...Jackson Hole, the Star Valley, and around Bondurant. The
heaviest snow is expected to fall in Grand Teton National Park
across the north half of Jackson Hole, in the mountain foothills
on the eastern side of the Star Valley, and from Hoback Canyon
  into Bondurant.

* WHEN...Thursday through Friday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Temperatures may hover at or just above
freezing for much of the day Thursday, which may hinder snow
accumulation on the valley floor. There is still uncertainty as
to how much snow could fall Thursday, but the potential for
heavy snow certainly exists through Thursday evening. Snowfall
will decrease in intensity through the day Friday.
