The current water year ended September 30, and it proved very beneficial for Star Valley and surrounding areas. Star Valley Ranch totals for the water year included 31.81 inches. which included 274 inches of snow.     Every Month from November to March was very snowy as those who live in Star Valley can recall. g   Wyoming, particularly the western areas had a very moist Water Year 2022-2023

Snow cover has been been recorded at Star Valley Ranch since last November 3rd 2022(140 days ago). After the 9 inches measured yesterday the total for the winter thus far is 237 inches. Current snow cover at Star Valley Ranch is 46 inches.  Below is the Snow Stake at Star Valley Ranch  comparing last  November 19th and March 23(The snow stake only measures 36 inches)!
