.AN APPROACHING AREA OF LOW PRESSURE WILL HELP TO SPREAD
PRECIPITATION ACROSS THE EASTERN HALF OF THE FORECAST AREA THROUGH
THE WEEKEND. POTENTIALLY SIGNIFICANT SNOWFALL WILL SEE ITS START
OVER THE CENTRAL MOUNTAINS LATE TONIGHT…AND SPREAD EAST THROUGH
SATURDAY. SNOWFALL WILL REACH THE BASIN FLOORS BY LATE SATURDAY
AFTERNOON AND THROUGH THE OVERNIGHT HOURS. SNOWFALL LOOKS
FAVORABLE TO ADVERSELY IMPACT TRAVEL AT MOUNTAIN LEVEL
PASSES…WHILE LOWER ELEVATIONS WILL SEE ADVERSE CONDITIONS
IMPACTING AGRICULTURAL MORE THAN TRAVEL CONCERNS. SNOWFALL LOOKS

STORM WATCH…WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM THIS EVENING THROUGH SUNDAY
AFTERNOON.

* SUMMARY AND TIMING…LOW PRESSURE WILL SPREAD SNOWFALL ACROSS
  THE AREA LATE THIS EVENING…WITH INTENSITY INCREASING THROUGH
  THE OVERNIGHT HOURS. SNOWFALL WILL CONTINUE THROUGH SUNDAY
  AFTERNOON BEFORE WEAKENING.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS…6 TO 10 INCHES POSSIBLE…WITH LOCALLY
  HIGHER AMOUNTS UP TO 13 INCHES.

* WIND AND VISIBILITY…GUSTY WIND TO 25 MPH WILL BE FOUND OVER
  THE SOUTH PASS AREA…POTENTIALLY BRINGING BLOWING AND DRIFTING
  SNOW TO THE MOUNTAIN PASS. VISIBILITIES MAY BECOME REDUCED AT
  TIMES.

* IMPACTS…MOTORISTS SHOULD MONITOR FOR CHANGING TRAVEL
  CONDITIONS OVER MOUNTAIN PASSES. THOSE WITH OUTDOOR INTERESTS

AS A PERIOD OF HEAVY SNOW MOVES NORTH ACROSS THE AREA. PERIODS OF
HIGHER MOUNTAIN SNOW WILL CONTINUE AT TIMES THROUGH TODAY BEFORE
INCREASING ALONG AND EAST OF THE DIVIDE TONIGHT. SNOW MAY BECOME
HEAVY AT TIMES ALONG THE EAST SLOPE OF THE WIND RIVER MOUNTAINS…
