...Winter Storm Will Impact Western and Southern Wyoming Today
through Friday Morning...

.A Pacific storm system will bring increasing snowfall to the
west today, spreading across southern Wyoming this afternoon.
Snow will taper off Friday morning.


Star Valley-Salt River and Wyoming Ranges-South Lincoln County-
Including the cities of Afton, Alpine, Star Valley Ranch, Thayne,
Kemmerer, and Cokeville

...WINTER STORM WARNING IS IN EFFECT FROM 5 AM TODAY UNTIL 11 AM
MST FRIDAY...

* WHAT...Snow, moderate to heavy snow at times. Total snow
  accumulations of 5 to 8 inches in the Star Valley with 8 to 15
  inches in the Salt and Wyoming Ranges. Winds gusting as high as
  25 mph in open areas.

* WHERE...Star Valley and Salt River and Wyoming Ranges.

* WHEN...From 5 AM Thursday to 11 AM MST Friday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Travel could be very difficult. The
  hazardous conditions will impact the morning and evening
  commutes. Salt River Pass will be impacted as well.
