Wyoming Today through Sunday Morning...

.A fall storm system will impact western Wyoming today and Sunday
with significant snowfall over much of western Wyoming. The
heaviest snowfall is expected this afternoon through midnight
tonight.


Jackson Hole-Star Valley-
Including the cities of Jackson, Afton, Alpine,
Star Valley Ranch, and Thayne

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON MDT
SUNDAY...

* WHAT...Periods of snow. Total snow accumulations of 3 to 6
  inches are expected. The heaviest snowfall is expected this
  afternoon through midnight tonight. Snow accumulations through
  late afternoon should be under an inch due to temperatures in
  the 30s and a warm ground.

* WHERE...Jackson Hole and Star Valley.

* WHEN...Through noon Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Road are expected to become slick and hazardous this
  evening and remain slick through Sunday morning.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Slow down and use caution while traveling. If you travel, keep an
extra flashlight, food, and water in your vehicle in case of an
emergency. Also make sure your cell phone is charged.
