The Riverton Forecast Office has issued their Video Briefing for this coming weekend.  It has been very wet in parts of southern and central Wyoming the past couple days with more rain expected.

I am a retired meteorologist after 46 years in the National Weather Service. At the age of six I experienced a rare snowfall in Claremont California. That was the beginning of a lifelong interest in weather. Education: B.S. and M.S. degrees in Meteorology from the University of Utah. Work Experience: Summer Trainee (Bakersfield CA-1962 and Los Angeles CA-1963). Lab Instructor- University of Utah 1966-67 National Weather Service Career: Seattle WA-Observer 1967-69 Phoenix AZ-Lead Forecaster 1969-75 Kansas City MO NSSFC-Lead Severe Storms Forecaster 1975-1997 Norman OK SPC-Lead Severe Storms Forecaster 1997-2011. Married since December 1965 to Susan, 5 grown children,  4 grandchildren. Currently living in Star Valley Ranch WY
