
Evening Downburst Clouds Traverse Star Valley
High based convection moved northward along the east side of Star Valley this evening. They displayed the classic downburst characteristics particularly as they moved from the Turnerville/Bedford area northward.
The strongest observed wind gusts was just 26 mph at Star Valley Ranch. Likely localized stronger gusts occurred but the time of day after peak heating lessened stronger winds reaching the surface.
